Siófok offers you everything you need for a perfect beach holiday. The water of Balaton is suitable for bathing from June till the end of August. At Siófok the water is quite shallow , perfect for families with small children. The average water temperature  during a hot summer is 25 C (77 F). Beaches are covered with grass or fine sand which makes up the botton of the lake.

You can choose from the following beaches in Siófok .
Main beach (Nagystrand) is the biggest one with 670 m coastline. The main attraction here is the Coke Club with white sand giving a Florida beach feeling. Coke club programs range from sport to music concerts. The main beach has the Blue Wave Flag certification meaning a healthy  clean beach of highest standard . Playground and paddling pool for children,  water slides and sports fields   help to spend a fabulous time here.
Sóstó beach (Sóstói strand) offers  320 m coastline, water slides , sports fields and internet coffee shop.
Silver beach (Ezüstpart) has playing fields for beach soccer, beach volleyball, basketball and handball.
Some beaches are open to the public free of charge in the central and Western part of  Siófok.
